Following many discussions and several boat-hunting trips, Todd found a boat that does this and more. The boat we ultimately purchased was in need of cosmetic work and a few upgrades but had exceptional construction and was fitted out with top-notch gear. Our Shannon 50 fit our budget and met all of our qualifications and desires – and she’s truly a beautiful boat. Negotiations for a 50-foot boat can be tough and Todd came through again; he did a great job dealing with the seller. We trusted him, knowing that he would negotiate on our behalf and that he would get the best possible deal. As the negotiations became difficult, Todd assured us that if need be, he would find us another boat that fit our desires just as well as this one. This was important because we seriously thought about walking from the deal on more than one occasion. Donna and I controlled the price we were willing to pay and relied heavily on Todd for values of everything from the tangible cost of a new engine to the value of the Shannon name. Nine months later, we are even happier than the day we closed on the deal.
